The passive safety features include six airbags, a lane watch camera, hill start assist, and a tyre pressure monitoring system. Besides this, the City is equipped with ADAS features like lane keep assist, lane departure warning, adaptive cruise control, high beam assist, and collision mitigation braking. Inside, the cabin gets a dual-tone Ivory and Black theme for the leatherette upholstery. It gets a new single slat chrome grille and a diamond-chequered grille further below, new front and rear bumpers, a rear diffuser with a faux carbon-fibre finish, and new 16-inch alloy wheels. On the outside, the MY23 Honda City now retains the design as its standard sibling. This engine now complies with the RDE and BS6 Phase 2 emission norms. With the City Hybrid, Honda claims a fuel efficiency of 26.5kmpl. The motors are linked to the eCVT single-speed transmission. All combined, the City hybrid has an output of 125bhp and 253Nm of peak torque. While the petrol motor produces 96bhp, the traction motor generates 107bhp and the generation motor gives a boost of 94bhp. The highlight of the City Hybrid is the 1.5-litre petrol engine with Atkinson cycle. The City hybrid is available in two variants, including V and ZX. The 2023 Honda City Hybrid was launched in India on 2 March.
